My girlfriend and I ate here three times during a recent stay at nearby Ti'Kaye Village resort in Anse Cochon. This restaurant is close by the turnoff for Marigot Bay on the Castries-Soufreire highway, so if you are staying in that area, by all means don't miss it.
We decided to eat there after seeing a crowd of locals during lunch time - always a good sign. We were rewarded for doing so. During our times there, we had a delicious beef soup, fish steak, grilled mahi mahi and Creole shrimp. All were outstanding. The potato salad is perhaps the best I've ever had, and I grew up in the American South. The entrees were extremely reasonable, as we ended up paying roughly $15 per dish including tip.
We talked with Monique, the owner, who we found very warm and welcoming. She was a manager at Sandals in Castries for 14 years before opening this restaurant. We're glad she did. It is well worth the trip.
