Jalousie Beach
A beautiful beach at the base of the Piton's with imported white sand. There is a roped off area. Great area for snorkeling and swimming. "There is a deep drop." Lot's of interesting things to see such as, a variety of fish, moray eels, trumpet fish, baracuda's, and colourful coral.
* If you are not a guest of the resort, a new Non Resident Guests Limited facilities Access Pass can be bought (as of August 2009), at the front desk for EC $133 for adults, which will give you limited services such as lounge chairs, toilets and a voucher for the restaurant. You can call or email in the right column regarding this new arrangement.
If you don't get the pass, you may have to walk the long road down the hill and back up again.
Note: Stonefield guest has free access.
There is a beach restaurant (a little expensive) available. If you don't want to go to the restaurant, bring a nice lunch or dine up the road at Martha's Table (cheap) for some good o'l local Creole cuisine.
