Anse Chastanet Beach
A black sand beach on the Caribbean side. Great for swimming, scuba and snorkeling. Although the facilities are primarily used for resort guest, the public can rent scuba or snorkeling equipment. Snorkeling gear rents for about ~US$10. There are lockers available at Anse Chastanet Scuba Shop.
There is a beachside cafe/bar available. This is an ideal place for couples or familes looking for a relaxing time with a variety of food and drink options close at hand.
You need to drive or take a taxi to this beach. It's off the beaten track, but well worth the visit, especially if you want to snorkel.
